Brutus is the kind of dog who likes to take his time getting to know you. Once he decides you're one of his people, though, his sweet and affectionate side really comes out. ❤️ He has a lot of love to give—he just wants to make sure you're worthy of it first!

Brutus is also very aware of his surroundings and tends to be cautious about what's happening around him. Other dogs make him nervous, so Brutus would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he doesn't have to worry about sharing his space.

He may not be the dog who immediately runs up to everyone with a giant smile, but give him time, patience, and a little understanding, and you'll get to see the affectionate, quirky guy hiding underneath that cautious exterior.
