Raggedy Ann came to us as a stray, and while we don’t know everything about her past, it’s clear what she wants for her future: peace, comfort, and a place to finally rest her paws. ?

This sweet older lady is ready to retire from the hustle and bustle. She’s happiest lounging around, soaking up the quiet, and keeping an eye on her surroundings. Raggedy Ann does enjoy following her nose, so a securely fenced yard or being leashed when outside is important to keep her safe. The good news is, she knows how to potty outside and does well with a routine.

Raggedy Ann prefers to be the one and only pet—she doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home where she doesn’t have to share her space. Because of her age and desire for calm, she would likely be uncomfortable in a home with very small children who may poke or prod her unintentionally.

She’s not looking for adventures or chaos—just a cozy spot to relax, a calm environment, and a person who will let her spend her days watching over the property and enjoying the simple things in life.
