Meet Mystic!
📖 Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover 📖
Mystic came to the shelter during some of the coldest weather of the year, and somehow she's still waiting for her family. Want to know why?
Well... if we're being honest, Mystic doesn't always make the best first impression from behind her kennel gate. She gets excited. REALLY excited. She barks, wiggles, jumps around, and acts like she's had six cups of coffee before breakfast. Some people see that and keep walking.
But here's the thing: that's not really Mystic.
The moment she steps out of her kennel, it's like meeting a completely different dog. Suddenly, the "wild child" disappears and you're left with a sweet, affectionate, and even slightly shy girl who just wants to be loved. All that craziness behind the gate isn't aggression or bad behavior—it's a dog who desperately wants someone to notice her.
Mystic enjoys other dogs and would love a playful canine companion. She especially enjoys wrestling and roughhousing, so her ideal dog friend would be one who appreciates that style of play and is ready for some fun.
What Mystic needs most is a family willing to look past those first few noisy moments and take the time to meet the real dog hiding behind the kennel door. The real Mystic is loving, playful, and waiting for someone to see beyond the excitement.
